Drove Orchards

With over 40 acres of orchards, a farm shop, fishmonger, garden nursery, art gallery, lifestyle shopping including Bells and Whistles, Nelle DK  and Joyful Living and Shuck's plus Eric's, there’s something for everyone at Drove Orchards, just off the A149 coast road between Holme and Thornham.

Wander round the Heritage Orchards – there are over 160 varieties of apples and pears at Drove, and around 120 of these are East Anglian heritage varieties. You can also Pick Your Own apples, pears and soft fruits in season, and even stay on site at the ‘Wild Luxury’ glamping.

Shuck’s is extremely proud to be part of the thriving Drove Orchards community and has exciting plans for Summer 2017 with the launch of Shuck's Chicken Shack and Rustic Pizzas - available for takeaway or to be enjoyed in our al-fresco dining area.

Our Ethos

We want everyone to feel welcome at Shuck’s and have a relaxed dining experience to remember in our unique family-run setting along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. We have a Kid's Corner for our younger guests filled with books, toys and colouring to keep them amused along with an outdoor play area to burn off some energy or cook up a tasty 'treat' on the mud kitchen! Four-legged friends are welcome in our restaurant and there are always treats on hand for our well behaved visitors, lovingly made by Arthurs Pet Bakery.

Our menus, devised by award-winning local chef Philip, offer a unique twist on traditional dishes and honest, rustic food, using as much of the fantastic local and Drove kitchen garden produce as possible.

Relax by the log fire with a latte, enjoy a bite and a drink with friends, dine al fresco next to the beautiful orchards, celebrate a special occasion or enjoy good food and family time. And you can cross off your bucket list eating in a Yurt!
