Our aim is to give customers a relaxed, casual dining experience to remember in our unique family-run setting along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. Unwind in front of the burning log fire to enjoy our food all year long or dine al-fresco on a balmy summer’s day or evening. Philip, an award-winning local chef with 20+ years experience along the coast, wants to bring his passion to the table and capitalize on the wonderful local produce on our doorstep in Drove’s kitchen gardens and beyond.

Younger guests are well catered for with their own menu, highchairs available and a designated ‘Kid’s Corner’ with an array of traditional games, cards and colouring. Plus a fabulous outdoor play area right on our doorstep to burn off some energy. Four-legged friends are welcome in the Yurt, and we always have dog bowls and special treats available. Walkers and bird watchers can take advantage of Drove’s beautiful 40 acres of fruit orchards and the nearby Holme Bird Observatory, home of the Norfolk Ornithologists’ Association. Find this tranquil setting just off the A149 or accessed on foot from Thornham using the Norfolk Coast Path. Campers experiencing a bit of ‘Wild Luxury’ at Thornham Bay’s glamping lodges, just a stone’s throw from the Yurt, will also be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at our unique setting. Visitors to the coast travelling by bus can also stop off right at Drove Orchard’s entrance by request on the Coasthopper bus service.
We want everyone to feel at home at Shuck’s.
